Webcast: Preview of New Codes and Medicare Changes for 2014

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This webcast will present a preview of the key coding changes for 2014 impacting OB/Gyn practices. Key CMS initiatives for 2014 will be reviewed along with the background information necessary to understand the rationale and goals of these initiatives. The webcast will also review the basic structure and tenants of the RBRVS system and the trends impacting future reimbursement by all payers for physician services.


OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of the presentation, the participants will be able to:

  • List the new and revised CPT-4 codes important for OB/Gyn practices
  • Describe the key steps to transitioning to ICD-10 codes in 2014
  • Evaluate and analyze major CMS initiatives for 2014 impacting OB/Gyn practices
