COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is intended for obstetrician-gynecologists, Family Medicine specialists, nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners. Topics will include diabetes mellitus in pregnancy; prenatal diagnosis; obstetric infections; evaluation of  abnormal Pap test results; evaluation of acute emergencies such as adnexal torsion, ectopic pregnancy, and necrotizing fasciitis;  contraception; assessment of the infertile couple; recurrent abortion;  oncofertility; multiple gestation; thrombophilia and antiphospholipid syndrome; and obesity in pregnancy.
