Webcast: Management of Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is one of the most common medical complications of pregnancy, affecting approximately 6-15 percent of gestations in the United States. The frequency of GDM is rising globally and may increase further as less stringent criteria for the diagnosis of GDM are applied. Debate continues regarding the significance of the diagnosis, diagnostic criteria, and preferred treatment strategies.
