COURSE DESCRIPTION
How you provide gynecological care… manage co-occurring health conditions in the female patient...  oversee pregnant patients through to a safe delivery…. All this is changing, as knowledge advances and standards of care evolve.

This course brings together obstetrician-gynecologists, family medicine specialists, nurse-midwives, and nurse practitioners, to learn from experts and share experiences on a range of preventive and case management topics:

  • Diabetes mellitus in pregnancy
  • Prenatal diagnosis
  • Obstetric infections
  • Evaluation and management of patients with depression and those on chronic opioid medications
  • Contraception
  • Assessment of the infertile couple
  • Recurrent abortion
  • Oncofertility
  • Multiple gestation
  • Thrombophilia and antiphospholipid syndrome
  • Obesity in pregnancy
  • Evaluation of life-threatening conditions (septic shock, necrotizing fasciitis, ectopic pregnancy, and septic pelvic vein thrombophlebitis)
