This course will provide the tools necessary to enable new and recently appointed chairs and vice chairs to:

  • Strategic plan, financially manage, and appropriate decision making
  • Improve physician and faculty performance
  • Manage difficult faculty and situations
  • Navigate meetings and organizational politics
  • Physician recruitment
  • Present promotions and tenure elections
  • Network with other new chairs
