2014 Highlights: “What an Amazing Annual Clinical Meeting!”

The 2014 ACOG Annual Clinical Meeting, Chicago, April 26–30, was an extraordinary gathering of the country’s physicians who specialize in the care of women. Presiding ACOG President Jeanne A. Conry, MD, PhD, opened the meeting by introducing riveting presentations on women’s health as a human right, the prenatal origins of disease, and the reproductive risks of exposure to toxic chemicals.

At his inauguration, ACOG President John C. Jennings, MD, emphasized the key themes of his presidency: collaboration and optimization of resources to improve women’s health care in America.

What happened in between was just as enlightening and inspiring. For those who weren’t able to attend, as well as those who did, we’ve gathered highlights: original research, the ACOG President’s first blog post, meeting coverage from the on-site newspaper ACM News and national media sources, and photos on Facebook.
