Who Is Pennsylvania ACOG?
Welcome to the Pennsylvania Section of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists' (ACOG) web site. The purpose of the PA Section of ACOG is to coordinate the efforts of ob-gyns in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in order to secure and maintain the best patient care and the highest standard of practice in obstetrics and gynecology. This is principally accomplished through study of the scientific, socioeconomic and legislative aspects of the practice of obstetrics and gynecology. The PA Section of ACOG also aims to educate the public concerning the type of service rendered by ob-gyns.
There are currently over 1,800 Section members who are classified as either fellow, junior fellow in practice, junior fellow in residency or retired. For more information about the Section membership and to locate an ob-gyn in your area, please click the “Alphabetical or Geographic Membership List” icons.
The PA Section of ACOG is a subdivision of ACOG District III and ACOG National. Pennsylvania joins Delaware and New Jersey to form ACOG District III.
