The Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology (SASGOG)
The Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology (SASGOG) is a new society incorporated to represent issues that are unique to academic generalists in OBGYN. We are pleased to announce the first national meeting of SASGOG, which is in New Orleans on Sunday May 5th 1-5 pm, immediately prior to ACOG’s Annual Clinical Meeting. The society has the support of both ACOG as well as ABOG.
The purpose of SASGOG is to exchange information among specialists in general obstetrics and gynecology who practice in academic settings, promote health for women, enhance the delivery of clinical care, foster excellence in research and education in general ob-gyn and to support career development of academic specialists in general ob-gyn.
Targeted members are physicians practicing general obstetrics and gynecology and who are engaged in undergraduate/graduate medical education, conducting independent research, or are working to advance the field of general obstetrics and gynecology.
