2013 Medical Student Essay Contest

ATTENTION ALL MEDICAL STUDENTS WHO ARE CONSIDERING THE OB/GYN SPECIALITY!

ACOG-District IX (California) is proud to announce our 6th annual medical student essay contest. We are looking for original essays addressing compelling issues in obstetrics and gynecology.

This year, ACOG-District IX invites submissions on the following topic:

If you could make a radical change in women’s health care policy, what would it be?

Submit essays (no more than 2 pages in length) by email to mclark@acog.org. A cover letter is required with the author’s full name, phone number, email, name of medical school and year in medical school.

To be eligible, submissions must be received no later than Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Winners will be notified by Friday, March 29, 2013.
