Webinar: A Perinatal Safety Approach to Hypertension in Pregnancy

During this webinar, clinical consultant for the MOREOB (Managing Obstetrical Risk Efficiently) Program, James Brown Jr., MD, FACOG will provide a brief overview of the MOREOB Program, including actual chapter content on hypertension in pregnancy. Dr. Brown will also review new terminology, discuss the management of acute HTN crisis and chronic management, review the management of magnesium for seizure prophylaxis and present an actual workshop and case audit for HTN management.  Lastly, he will close with a review of the American Journal of Ob-Gyn Editorial, “Quality patient care in labor and deliver: a call to action” which describes recommendations for what L&D units should have in place as safety programs.
