The ACOG Call for Papers for the Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award is now open. Submitting your research paper to District II enters you in this national contest, including the opportunity to win $1,000 and reimbursement of up to $750 for expenses to attend the 2013 Annual Clinical Meeting (ACM) in New Orleans, Louisiana .

District II's Junior Fellow Task Force on Awards will judge abstracts submitted, selecting one finalist who will present their research during the 2012 Annual District II Meeting (ADM) at the Grand Hyatt New York, October 19 - 21, 2012. The finalist's research paper will then be submitted as District II's entry in the national Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award Call for Papers. Two winners are selected by the national committee, each receiving a $1,000 award and up to $750 for expenses to attend the 2013 ACM.

NOTE  The Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award is a national award. District II hosts its own Call for Papers during the annual Iffath Abbasi Hoskins, MD Junior Fellow Research Day Contest and Martin L. Stone, MD Research Day Poster Session, which are held in conjunction with the Annual District II Meeting. Those who wish to enter both the Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award and the District's research day and poster session should submit their research separately to each contest.
