Communications and Outreach

The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists District II (ACOG) relies on the Department of Communications & Outreach to manage and track internal and external communications related to our members and the Congress. Other department responsibilities include media, government and public relations in addition to the development of key messages and goals associated with ACOG and the advancement of women’s health care awareness across New York State. The Department of Communications & Outreach oversees communication venues such as the monthly ACOG Update eNewsletter and regular listserv updates. In addition, the Department of Communications & Outreach works closely with the ACOG District II Medical Education Department to develop and produce patient education materials – ranging from posters to videos to public service announcements that are heard on radio stations throughout New York State.
