After completing the training, the provider will be able to apply principles of the 5 A’s intervention, a best practice approach for smoking cessation, which reflects current clinical recommendations from the US Public Health Service Guidelines for Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence 2008 update and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Committee Opinion No. 471: Smoking Cessation During Pregnancy. There is a $25 user fee for this CME program.
