American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)
The ASHP website has information on ASHP products, including guidelines, resource centers on various topics, and online access to the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy.

This consumer website from ASHP has medication tips and tools, information on hospital pharmacy, a downloadable My Medications List, and more.
American Pharmacists Association (APhA)
The APhA site includes information for pharmacists on topics such as medication therapy management, immunizations, compounding, and opioids. There are also links to APhA journals and an online pharmacy library.
CenterWatch - Drug Research Information
This site lists newly approved since 1995 by specialty. This website also has information on clinical trials and resources for patients and industry.
This website provides information for consumers on medication safety. It includes drug alerts, a newsletter, articles, and information on reporting medication errors.
European Medicines Agency
The European Medicines Agency's main responsibility is the protection and promotion of public and animal health, through the evaluation and supervision of medicines for human and veterinary use. The EMEA coordinates the evaluation and supervision of medicinal products throughout the European Union.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
The FDA regulates drugs and other products in the US. The website has information on food, drugs, medical devices, radiation-emitting products, vaccines, blood and biologics, animal and veterinary products, cosmetics, and tobacco products. There is information for consumers/patients as well as health professionals and researchers.

This website includes all of the FDA’s drug information, including drug development and approval, drug safety, emergency preparedness, guidance for industry, and more.

This FDA website has information on drug shortages, shortages that have been resolved, and discontinued drugs.
Institute for Safe Medication Practices
ISMP is an organization dedicated to medication error prevention and safe medication use. The website has information on educational programs, newsletters, medication safety tools, and a link to report errors.
International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists
The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) is an association of pharmacists, students, technicians, and others who focus on pharmaceutical compounding. The website has information on education, position statements, consumer advocacy, and more.
MedlinePlus – Drugs, Herbs, and Supplements
This site is a guide to prescription and over-the-counter medication information from the AHFS Consumer Medication Information. The site also includes links to other related MedlinePlus pages.
National Library of Medicine – Drug Information
The drug information subject guide is based on the most frequently asked questions and are a starting point for health professionals, researchers, librarians, students and others.
National Institutes of Health – Office of Dietary Supplements
This NIH website has dietary supplement fact sheets, nutrient recommendations, consumer protection, and information on research and funding. There is also a link to Spanish information.
This site provides access to the Physicians' Desk Reference and other resources of interest. There is an alphabetical list of drugs; more information on a drug, including warnings and FDA safety communications, can be obtained by clicking on the drug name. Registration is required for full access.
Regional Drug and Therapeutics Centre (RDTC)
The RDTC promotes safe, effective and economical use of medicines in the UK’s National Health Service. The site includes links to prescribing analysis and support, the National Poisons Information Service, and the UK Teratology Information Service.
Users can search by drug name or browse an alphabetical list. The site also provides a pill identifier, information on supplements, a list of the top 20 drugs prescribed in the U.S., and more.
U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP)
The site provides information on USP products, such as food ingredients, dietary supplements, drug reference standards, and more. There is also a link to information for consumers.
