Associate Member

A physician, within the geographic confines of the Congress, who has given valuable service in obstetrics and/or gynecology and who is not eligible to be a Fellow or Junior Fellow (i.e. a physician in a specialty other than ob-gyn but board certified or a non-boarded ob-gyn).

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an examination, or certification, by a board other than those recognized by ACOG as a qualification for Fellow Status; or  
  • Possession of an advanced degree with significant contributions in women’s health. Each application will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Please allow up to 4 months to process. After approval has been granted, new Associate Members are admitted and notified by mail on a monthly basis.

Associate Member International

A physician, outside the geographic confines of the Congress, who has given valuable service in obstetrics and/or gynecology and who is not eligible to be a Fellow or Junior Fellow.

Requirements:

  • An ob-gyn or other physician who shows evidence of advanced training in women's health and who is a member of an ob-gyn society or an organization recognized by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO).

Category open only to ob-gyns who reside in countries outside the geographic confines of ACOG.
