1:30pm - 4:30pm John M. Gibbons, Jr., MD Medical Student Lecture: OB/Gyn as a Career *All level medical students are welcomed.


Please join lecture directors Dr. Patrick Ramsey and Dr. Sarah Page-Ramsey for this program designed specifically for medical students. The lecture features panel discussions providing insight into what it takes to succeed in Ob/Gyn clerkships, sub-internships, residency selection, residency interviewing, and in Ob/Gyn residency/fellowship. The first panel will discuss ob-gyn as a career, with individual commentary followed by open discussion. The second panel will discuss what it takes to secure and succeed in an ob/gyn residency, followed by open discussion.

8:00am - 12:00pm "Step Up to Residency" Course and Didactics - 4th Year Medical Students ONLY! *Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance that lists skills necessary to begin their first year of residency (must complete both course and skills workshop).

2:00pm - 4:00pm "Step Up to Residency" Simulation Lab - 4th Year Medical Students ONLY! *Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance that lists skills necessary to begin their first year of residency (must complete both course and skills workshop).

9:00am - 12:00pm - MEDICAL STUDENT WORKSHOP - HANDS-ON SKILL SESSION
*1-3 year medical students are welcomed. *Must be registered. Space is limited.

Hands-on Skills Session includes: knot tying, obstetric vaginal delivery simulators, intrauterine contraception instertion simulators, and more! Expanded workshops with new skills stations for a total of 10 ob/gyn specific hands-on simulations for residents.

2:00pm - 4:00pm - MEDICAL STUDENT WORKSHOP - ROUNDTABLES *1-3 year medical students are welcomed.
