ACOG Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Program
Are you interested in reducing unintended pregnancy and increasing women's access to contraceptive methods...?
If yes, see the information below
Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Program - The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy.
The College's Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Program provides information and guidance on LARC methods, specifically the contraceptive implant and IUDs, to reduce unintended pregnancy and increase women's access to the full range of contraceptive methods.
Educational materials created by the College's LARC Program are posted on this ACOG web page http://www.acog.org/goto/larc
The LARC Program provides continuing education sessions at ACOG Annual District Meetings and other events. The LARC Program also supports other special projects designed to improve access to contraceptive care, including partnering with the contraceptive support website www.bedsider.org, an innovative, medically accurate website designed to support contraceptive method selection and continuation among young women ages 19-29.
