Getting Involved

In addition to identifying the barriers that prevent women from gaining access to appropriate health care services, ACOG works to develop solutions that involve the College and its members at the national, state, and local levels. The first step to such involvement is becoming familiar with the many public programs that exist to serve underserved women and the key players at the national and state levels. After taking this critical first step, Fellows can serve on community- and statewide task forces, implement projects, and influence the policy that ultimately affects women's health.
