PGY 2 POSITION(S) AVAILABLE

University of New Mexico School of Medicine: Albuquerque, New Mexico
PGY-2 OBGYN position has unexpectedly become available for academic year 2017-18. Interested candidates must have successfully completed, by June 2017, one year of training and be in good standing at a fully accredited ACGME Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program. The following application materials should be sent via email to Jen Jones, Residency Program Coordinator at JJones18@salud.unm.edu. Include a copy of your ERAS application with Dean’s Letter, MSPE, Medical School Transcript, USMLE Scores Step 1, 2 CS/CK, and Step 3 (if taken), Current CV, Medical School Diploma, Cover Letter explaining reason for leaving current program, and CREOG scores for the past year. If an interview is considered based on this information, we will then require a current ACGME Operative Log report, and 3 letters of recommendation. One letter of recommendation must be from your current Program Director which should include verification that you are a PGY-1 in good standing, that you are expected to have satisfactorily completed your internship by June 30, 2017, a list of completed rotations including dates, and rotation-specific evaluations. The other two letters of recommendation must be from attending physicians at your current program. Applicants must be a graduate of a US Medical School or have a full ECFMG certification. Only qualified applicants from an accredited ACGME program will be considered. If considered, you will be contacted. Allegheny Health Network Medical Education Consortium -Pittsburgh, PA
Our residency program has a PGY 2 position available to start immediately.  Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing and will have successfully completed the PGY 2 year of training by June 30, 2017.  All applicants must have passed USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3 or COMLEX and be able to begin training on July 1, 2017. Mount Sinai St. Luke's Mount Sinai West Hospital- New York, NY
Unexpected PGY 2 position available due to personal reasons. Applicants must have completed one year in an ACGME fully accredited ob-gyn residency program. University of Minnesota Medical School- Minneapolis, MN
Unexpected PGY 2 position open starting June 11, 2017, however we would consider applicants eligible to start on July 1st, 2017, at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Eligible applicants must have successfully completed one year of training by the start date and in good standing at an ACGME accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The MountainView Hospital- Las Vegas, NV
Two PGY-2 positions are available at MountainView Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program, a newly accredited program in Las Vegas, Nevada. The program is now recruiting to begin June 27, 2017. All applicants must submit the following documents for consideration: Personal statement/Letter of interest, Current CV in chronological order with no gaps, Medical School diploma and transcript, MSPE (Dean’s Letter), USMLE Transcript(a first time pass on all exams is required),Applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, ECFMG Certification (If applicable), Photograph, Applicant must have completed all prior years of training in good standing at an ACGME-approved Obstetrics & Gynecology  Residency Program.  For those applying for a PGY-2 position, your PGY-1 in surgery must have been completed no earlier than 2015, Three letters of recommendation which must include current/former Program Directors, USMLE  transcript to include Step 3 (a first time pass on all exams is required), CREOG score report for all prior training years, Current updated ACGME Case Log System Defined Category Report, Rotation schedules for all prior training years, A summative competency-based performance evaluation completed by your Program Director for each completed year, Current ACLS Certification; NRP Certification if available. Eligible applicants must have successfully completed one year of training and in good standing at an ACGME accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology by June 30, 2016. PGY2 position available from August 1, 2016. Eligible applicants must have completed one year of training in an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency program as of June 30, 2016, in good standing.    Applicants should submit the following to the Program Coordinator Olga Navas at olga.navas@upr.edu: updated CV, two recent letters of recommendation from current program faculty, letter of recommendation from your current program director verifying your good standing, USMLE transcript, CREOG Score from PGY 1 year, list of completed rotations including dates, milestone evaluations for PGY1 year and updated ACGME  case log summary.  International medical graduates must have ECFMG certificate, US Citizenship or US permanent resident status. PGY 3 POSITION(S) AVAILABLE

Greenville Health System/University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Greenville, SC
PGY 3 position available at Greenville Health System/University of South Carolina School of Medicine.  Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing at an ACGME accredited OB GYN program and will have successfully completed the PGY2 year of training and be ready to begin clinical training no later than June 25, 2017. Interested candidates will prepare the following information to submit for review:  Medical school diploma, complete ERAS application (medical school transcript, MSPE, USMLE scores, personal statement), current CV, cover letter addressing rationale for desire to transfer programs, ACGME Op Log case summary, list of completed rotations including dates, and CREOG scores.   Other information such as a summative competency-based performance evaluation and your milestone evaluations is helpful.  All materials should be sent in a single PDF file via email to Libby Boerger, Program Coordinator at EBoerger@ghs.org.  Send to the attention of Sharon Keiser, MD, Residency Program Director.

Baylor College of Medicine-Houston, TX   
PGY 3 position available at Baylor College of Medicine. Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing at an ACGME accredited OB GYN program and will have successfully completed the PGY2 year of training by June 26, 2016. All applicants must have passed USMLE Steps 1, and 2 or COMLEX Steps 1, and 2 and be able to begin clinical training no later than June 28, 2017. Interested candidates should prepare the following information to submit for review:  Medical school diploma, complete ERAS application (medical school transcript, MSPE, USMLE scores, personal statement), ECFMG certificate (if applicable), current CV, cover letter addressing rationale for desire to transfer programs, ACGME OpLog case summary, list of completed rotations including dates, CREOG score (when available), a letter of good standing from your current program director verifying your training and progress in the program, and an additional letter from a faculty member in your current program.   Other information such as a summative competency-based performance evaluation, and your milestone evaluations is helpful.  Your program director will need to submit a summary evaluation of your performance prior to beginning any clinical duty. Interviews will only be granted to applicants with permission of their current Program Director.  All materials should be sent in a single PDF file to Melissa Jones, Academic Coordinator, at melissaj@bcm.edu .  You will be notified of an opportunity to interview after your material is completely reviewed.  Repeated communication attempts to check on your application status will not help your chance of gaining an interview.

PGY 3 position available July 1, 2017.  Eligible applicants must have completed two years of training in an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency program as of June 2017. PGY3 position available at the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology starting  July 1, 2016. Eligible applicants must have successfully completed two years of training and in good standing at an ACGME accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology by June 30, 2016, and must have passed USMLE Step 3  before July 1, 2016. If interested, please submit the following: ERAS Application, Current CV, Medical School Transcript, Medical School Diploma, USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3 or COMLEX Levels 1,2, and 3, ACGME Case Log  Summary, List of completed rotations, ACGME Milestone Reports, Performance Evaluations, CREOG Scores, Current Letters of Recommendation from 2 faculty members and letter from Program Director verifying your training and current status in the program, and a Cover Letter with reason for leaving current program.
