Junior Fellows Elect New Vice Chair at Annual Meeting
Chair Dr. Amanda Kallen presided over today’s Junior Fellow Congress Advisory Council (JFCAC) meeting, with Vice Chair Dr. Megan Evans preparing to take the reins on May 6 at the conclusion of the ACOG’s 63rd Clinical and Scientific Annual Meeting.
The JFCAC also elected as its new Vice Chair Dr. Kristen P. Zeligs of the Armed Forces District. Dr. Zeligs intends to increase involvement in ACOG among Junior Fellows in Practice; find new ways to support medical students and Junior Fellows in Training; and continue the JF programming improvement initiatives already underway among individual Districts.
Dr. Zeligs currently serves as the Junior Fellow Chair of the Armed Forces District. She received her medical education at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and completed her residency at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
