Who is Ontario ACOG?
Welcome to the Ontario Section of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists' (ACOG) web site. The purpose of our Section of ACOG is to coordinate the efforts of ob-gyns in the territory of Ontario in order to secure and maintain the best patient care and the highest standard of practice in obstetrics and gynecology. This is principally accomplished through study of the scientific, socioeconomic and legislative aspects of the practice of obstetrics and gynecology. The Ontario Section of ACOG also aims to educate the public concerning the type of service rendered by ob-gyns.
There are currently over 433 Section members who are classified as either fellow, junior fellow in practice, junior fellow in residency or retired.
The Ontario Section of ACOG is a subdivision of ACOG District V and ACOG National. Ontario joins Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio to form ACOG District V.
