ACOG District IX is partnering with the March of Dimes to provide a series of Preterm Labor Assessment Toolkit (PLAT) trainings in California. The toolkit was developed to help medical providers establish a standardized clinical pathway for the assessment and disposition of women with suspected preterm labor. The training will assist hospitals in the implementation of PLAT which should ultimately help hospitals achieve timely and appropriate interventions with these patients, including antenatal corticosteroid administration.
