The 2015 Iffath Abbasi Hoskins Junior Fellow Research Day Contest is an opportunity for Junior Fellows of District II to showcase their research projects during this year's Annual District Meeting (ADM) being held October 23-25, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt, New York, New York. 

 
 
Contest prizes include a $1,000 travel stipend from the John Burch Endowment Fund Travel Award used to help offset the cost of attending the ACOG 2016 Annual Clinical Meeting (ACM), May 14-18, 2016, in Washington, DC and a $1,000 cash prize to the winner of The Martin L. Stone, MD, Research Day Poster Session.



 


Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award

Call for Papers
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: September 13, 2015, 11:59pm

The Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award "Call for Papers" is currently underway. District II Junior Fellows are encouraged to submit a paper from basic science or clinical research for a chance to WIN $2,000 to cover hotel and travel expenses to attend the 2016 Annual Clinical Meeting. 


 


1st Annual Film Festival Contest

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: August 15, 2015, 11:59pm

NEW to this year's Research Day is the 1st Annual Film Festival. Do you have an interesting and original surgical or educational video? If so, then consider submitting your video in this new competition. Submissions will be judged by the Task Force on Awards with the winner receiving the Mireille Truong, MD and Kasandra Scales, MD Best Video Award of $500 cash, generously donated by Junior Fellows Mireille Truong, MD and Kasandra Scales, MD, and the Festival trophy.


 


Junior Fellow Professor of the Year

Call for Nominations
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: September 1, 2015, 11:59pm

The District II Junior Fellow Task Force on Awards is currently seeking nominations for the ACOG District II 2015 Junior Fellow Professor of the Year. This prestigious teaching award is presented annually to an ACOG Fellow Professor. Junior Fellow residents are asked to submit the name of a Professor who has most positively impacted the Junior Fellows of District II. If you have a professor you believe is deserving of this award, nominate him or her today.
