The Foundation for Women's Wellness offers Research Awards that target early funding for small, short-term studies with promise for improving medical knowledge in women's health. Emphasis is on cardiovascular disease, top female cancers, the role of hormones in disease and stage-of-life health issues such as pregnancy and menopause and topics disproportionately affecting women. This may include disease prevention and/or treatment; identifying gender differences; and/or improving quality of life health concerns. Due 8/15/14.
The Foundation for Women's Wellness offers Fellowships to improve women's health. Fellowship Awards recognize and support MD/PhD students and junior investigators (fellows, residents, assistant researchers) working at accredited U.S. medical institutions on women's health related research.
