What's New from the College?

Preexposure Prophylaxis for the Prevention of Human Immunodeficiency Virus
(#595, 05/14) includes guidance on administration of antiretroviral medications to individuals who are not infected with HIV and at the highest risk of acquiring HIV infection.

Revised Routine Human Immunodeficiency Virus Screening (#596, 05/14) includes further information on strategies for routine screening of adult women.


The College is pleased to announce a new free standing website dedicated to Women and HIV (July 2012).

Also, the site is an excellent resource for professional and patient HIV education materials, the latest research related to HIV and women, and contains links to relevant material from CDC, NIH, and many other agencies and organizations.
