The CREOG Education Committee has developed Frequently Asked Questions about Global Health Electives as a resource for program directors to address the rising interest in a global health experience during residency training. This document focuses on the essential issues to be considered by program directors and residents for an international elective rotation. Multiple resources are included with a focus on safety, education, and consideration of the complex issues involved with a trainee providing global health care in a low resource setting.
