This one-day postgraduate ultrasound course consists of didactic lectures followed by a hands-on ultrasound experience. Maternal-fetal medicine faculty & ultrasound technologists will extend the information provided in the morning lectures to the afternoon by scanning patients alongside course participants with industry provided ultrasound machines. Topics will include: biometry and pregnancy dating strategies, Doppler applications in pregnancy, amniotic fluid and placental abnormalities, basic fetal anatomy, basic fetal cardiac evaluation, and the use of ultrasound on labor and delivery.

Advancing Your Skills in Operative and Office Hysteroscopy – HO603, Andrew Ian Brill, MD, Amy Lynn Garcia, MD, Malcolm Gordon Munro, MD, Resad Pasic, MD

Designed to address all levels of hysteroscopic skill, this course will cover key issues in the office environment as well as basic and more complex intrauterine surgeries. The morning didactic session will be followed with an afternoon hands-on lab providing practice with a spectrum of hysteroscopic instrumentation including hysteroscopic sterilization.

This course was developed in collaboration with ACOG Simulations Consortium and is specifically designed to assess Gynecologic surgeons in all levels of training on various gynecologic surgeries. The modules used from the Advanced Surgical Simulaton and Endoscopic Surgical Simulation (ASSESS) Course are for Vaginal Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and retropubic slings. You will also have the opportunity to practice laparoscopic suturing skills. So whether you are a current expert in the field of gynecologic surgery or have not been able to perform vaginal or laparoscopic surgery, this course will afford you the opportunity to assess your current level of expertise in gynecologic surgery. This is a Hands On Course utilizing moderate fidelity simulation models from industry that you will be able to perform an actual vaginal hysterectomy, a laparoscopic hysterectomy and retropubic slings.
