Register now and plan to take in all the science, surgery, education and networking at ACOG ’17, from May 6-9, but be sure to leave time to explore one of America’s most beautiful cities.
Better yet, plan for a few extra days before or after the conference. And bring your family! You’ll be glad you did.
Explore Beyond the Conference Walls
With most of the hotels and the bay front San Diego Convention Center within walking distance or just a short trip away from many top San Diego destinations, the 2017 ACOG Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting is an ideal time to combine business and pleasure. There is something almost magical about springtime in picture-perfect San Diego. The days are warm and the evenings pleasantly cool.
But before you pack your sunglasses, register for the meeting. Browse the Preliminary Program, and choose sessions that are right for you. After spending the day inside soaking up the science, you’ll want to get outside for some fresh air!
Don’t Miss Coronado, Gaslamp Quarter, USS Midway Museum

This historic island is just across the bay from the convention center. After enjoying fantastic views along the way, you’ll be treated to food, shopping, and miles of relaxing beach. And don’t miss the beauty of the world-famous Hotel del Coronado.

We know time is tight, but be sure to choose at least one to visit from among the USS Midway Museum, Air and Space Museum, Fleet Science Center, Railroad Museum, and Natural History Museum. Music choices are plentiful, including the symphony under the stars at Summer Pops, Sunday concerts at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park, and The Music Box in Little Italy.
